Stirling Road

The Lodge of Friendship 5909 is hosting the Fourteenth Gathering of the Lodges of Friendship, to be held at The Clarendon Suites, Stirling Road, Edgbaston on 5^th May 2012 commencing 5.00pm. 

Twenty one Lodges with that name, based from Northumberland to Kenya and South Africa, are invited and we would hope to expect more than 100 of their members to join us, for “A light-hearted re-enactment of the Ceremony of Initiation” by The Black Country Heritage Lodge 9702.  If you have not seen this demonstration, it is not to be missed.

The first Gathering was held in Plymouth in 1999, to celebrate the Millennium, and such a meeting has been held every year since then.

Visitors would be welcome, to increase the numbers, to join in the fun, and to welcome some well-travelled brethren.

The menu for the festive board will be Smoked Fish, Clarendon Chicken, and Tarte au Citron.  The dining fee, which includes a commemorative gift, is £30.00.
