Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire

Freemasons don’t often put their heads above the parapet, but when we do it’s certainly with great style.

For those who haven’t already seen it, below is a link to the streaming of our magnificent tercentenary celebration at the Royal Albert Hall at the end of October, which included a theatrical extravaganza showcasing the history and heritage of Freemasonry, starring Sir Derek Jacobi, Samantha Bond, Sanjeev Bhaskar and others, with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, along with soprano Fleur de Bray providing the musical accompaniment.

Royal Albert Hall by UGLE

It is a unique and very rare insight into Freemasonry.

The webcast covers most of the event, with the play itself commencing about 7 minutes in and lasting 75 minutes. The play starts off a bit slowly but soon livens up. Following the play the webcast includes a message from, and tributes to our Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent, who has served in that capacity for 50 years. Also, messages exchanged with the Queen, and other masonic formalities and ceremonial processions.

This was our own celebration, and access to the stream is only available by registering, including Lodge details.

Register and access the stream here.

The official report of the event can be seen by clicking here.
