The Grand Master, HRH the Duke of Kent, KG, officially opened the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution’s fully refurbished, state-of-the-art care home at James Terry Court in Croydon at a ceremony with the Mayor of Croydon Councillor Yvette Hopley for residents and distinguished guests from the Masonic community.
The Duke toured the home meeting residents, alongside Grand Secretary Nigel Brown and Grand Director of Ceremonies Oliver Lodge on behalf of the United Grand Lodge of England.
They were joined by leading Freemasons from the Province of Surrey, together with local Masonic volunteers, the Association of Friends of James Terry Court and senior members of the RMBI.
