The tremendous fun and high jinx generated from the two charity pantomimes organised by Warwickshire freemasons certainly caught the eye of the media, with BBC Radio broadcasting details and both shows being reported in the local press.
Over a thousand children with learning and physical disadvantages, as well as many who might never have the opportunity of seeing a live show, were entertained at the Clarendon Suites in Edgbaston, Birmingham and at the Standard Triumph Club in Coventry by professional theatre company Chaplins.
Deputy Provincial Grand Master W Bro Michael Morris attended both events, hosting the various VIP visitors and providing the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Birmingham with a guided tour of the lodge rooms and Provincial HQ at the Clarendon Suites.
Full reports will be included in the next newsletter.
Lodges are urged to let their local media know about their activities, and guidelines on how to go about doing this can be found on the Provincial website here
