Province a Deputy and four Assistants.

Michael J Price CBE
Provincial Grand
Master
Michael John Price was born in Hall Green, Birmingham, in 1935, and educated at King Edward VI Grammar School, Camp Hill.
In 2002, Michael retired as Managing Director of Wirax Wirewares Ltd, where he had worked for over 40 years. In 1988, he was awarded the CBE for his work in political and public service.
Michael is married to Dawn, and they have 2 daughters and 2 grandsons.
Michael was Initiated into St Alphege Lodge No 1431 in 1967, and served as Master in 1981 and 1991. He is a member of a number of Lodges and Honorary Member of 2 others. He was appointed as Provincial Grand Steward in 1988, and has held a number of acting ranks until his appointment as Provincial Grand Master in 2001. His first appointment to Grand Rank came in 1996, as Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. Michael is also active in Royal Arch, Mark Masonry and Royal and Select Masters.
If there is any time left after his Masonic duties, Michael enjoys fly fishing.

Alan J Wellan
Deputy Provincial
Grand Master
Birmingham born & bred, Alan is an old boy of King Edward's Five Ways. He spent much of his working life in the precision steel tube manufacturing industry. He retired in 2004. Married to Joy he lives in a village between Stratford upon Avon and Warwick and has two children and four grandchildren.
He is Chairman of Reading Court (a Masonic Housing facility), a Freeman of the City of London, Court Assistant Emeritus of the Marketors Livery Company, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Member of the Institute of Directors and is active as Sidesman and in various other capacities in the Collegiate Church of St Mary Warwick. Other interests include wining and dining, good company, travel, gardening, DIY and village life. He was Initiated into Federation Lodge No 4807 in 1974, and his first Provincial Appointment was as Provincial Grand Steward in 1991. Since then he has held a number of acting ranks, including Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2004. He was appointed as Past Grand Sword Bearer in Grand Lodge in 2008, and is active in a number of additional Masonic Orders.

Rodney Pitham
Assistant Provincial Grand
Master
Rodney was born in Rugby in 1944. He graduated from Birmingham University in 1966 with an honours degree in law, and qualified as a Solicitor in 1969. He retired as a Local Government Officer after 30 years service.
He married Susan in 1981. They have three children.
Rodney was initiated into the Heart of England Lodge No 6549 in 1972. He is a member of many other Lodges and other Masonic Orders in Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Rodney was appointed as Provincial Assistant Director of Ceremonies in 1993, and has held an Acting Rank ever since, becoming Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 1998. His first appointment in Grand Rank came in 1999 as PAGDC and he was promoted to SGD in 2001. RW Bro Stanley Lates OSM appointed him as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master in 2000. He is currently the Chairman of the Appeals and Donations Committee of the Council of the Freemasons' Grand Charity. He is also the Provincial Information Officer for Warwickshire, and has done a great deal of work to bring more openness to Freemasonry in Warwickshire.
Rodney lists his hobbies as travel, gardening, decorating and dining out. He is active in his local Parish Church, and supports Coventry City FC.

Roger H Parker

Master
Roger was born in Nuneaton in 1943 and still lives there with his wife Barbara. Roger and Barbara have two children and two grandchildren. A Freeman of the City of Coventry, training as a mechanical engineer, Roger has been running his own sales engineering business for 25 years. Initiated into Etone Lodge No 5981 his first appointment in Provincial Grand Rank was to Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies in 1987. He became the Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 1996, and Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies in 2001. He is Past Senior Grand Deacon in Grand Lodge and was invested as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Warwickshire on 31 March 2006.
A choir member of his church of St Nicholas in Nuneaton for over twenty years Roger has been a keen and active member of the Provincial Choir since 1979. He is a lover of classical music and the theatre and his other interests include philately, gardening, holidays and walking. It is this last interest that has allowed him to enjoy his long involvement with photography during several trekking seasons in the Nepal Himalaya.

Nigel C Bister

Nigel was born Sutton Coldfield in 1939 and still lives there with his wife Pamela; they have two daughters and four grandchildren. Nigel trained as a mechanical engineer and spent his working life in the machine tool and precision engineering industry. He was initiated into Athol Lodge No.74 in 1968 and served as Master in 1982, is a member of other Lodges and was Master of the Warwickshire Installed Masters Lodge No.4538 in 2006.
He was appointed as Provincial Grand Steward in 1988 and became Provincial Grand Secretary in 2003. His first appointment to Grand Rank was in 2004 as Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies and was invested as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Warwickshire in 2007, being promoted to Past Senior Grand Deacon in 2008. He is also an active member of the Royal Arch.
Nigel is a member of his local church and has been an altar server for over fifty years. He is a keen gardener and an enthusiastic DIY man and enjoys walking and holidays.

David F Macey

Master
David Macey was born in South Shields in 1948. He retired at the end of 2006 after being Headteacher of a very successful school in Bromsgrove for 20 years. He is married to Sandra and they have two sons and a granddaughter. David was initiated into Loyal Travellers Lodge No. 2733 in 1978 and served as Master in 1991. He is a member of a number of other Lodges. He was appointed as a Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies in 1997; Swordbearer in 2000; and Provincial Junior Grand Warden in 2002. His appointment as Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies came in 2006, with promotion to Past Senior Grand Deacon in 2008. He has been Director of the Warwickshire 2012 Festival for the Masonic Samaritan Fund since 2006. He is also active in Royal Arch, Mark Masonry and Royal and Select Masters.
He has a great love of the outdoors, mountain walking, climbing and sailing. He is also a keen supporter of Sunderland F.C and Worcestershire C.C.C.
