PARTNERS, FAMILIES

& FRIENDS - CHARITY

Charity is one of the fundamental principles of Freemasonry. (More details available on the Charity page)  95% of money raised by Freemasons goes to non masonic charities and good causes.  All money raised is donated by Masons, their families and friends. Masonic charity is exercised at every level: individual Lodges make gifts and give aid to their own communities and every Province also gives large sums of money to regional causes.

Nationally, our efforts are coordinated by the Masonic Charitable Foundation. The Masonic Charitable Foundation builds better lives by enabling opportunity, advancing healthcare and education and promoting independence for Freemasons, their families and the wider community. Funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country.

In addition, Warwickshire donations to non-masonic charities are made by the Warwickshire Masonic Charitable Association, grouped by: Hospices, Hospitals and Air Ambulances; Carers and Support Groups; Homeless; Churches and Heritage Projects; Support Groups for Medical Conditions; Support for the Disabled; Sports and Clubs; Forces and Forces Help; Care Homes; Donations and Help for Masonic Events; Deaf and Blind; Medical Research; Holidays and Support for Disadvantaged and Disabled People.

2023 Festival

We, as a Province, have been tasked to run a Festival for the Masonic Charitable Foundation.  This was launched by the Provincial Grand Master on 15th January 2018 and will run for 5 years. Learn more about the 2023 Festival here.
