PROVINCIAL GRAND LODGE - SUMMARY FROM THE PROVINCIAL POET

The Provincial Poet – otherwise known as W Bro Bill Clark, PGStdB, retired Provincial Grand Almoner – after a lengthy illness, which had us all worried, has been producing his poems again, and has given us his summary of the recent Provincial Grand Lodge meeting as below.


PROVINCIAL GRAND LODGE - SATURDAY 19th MAY 2018


STONELEIGH WAS THE VENUE PICTURE THE SCENE BLUE SKIES AND SUNSHINE ALL CALM AND SERENE BRETHREN OF WARWICKSHIRE WEARING NEW TIES WHATEVER THEIR STATURE RANK POSITION OR "SIZE"


ALL GATHERED TOGETHER WITH ONE AIM IN VIEW TO SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER AND HONOUR THE FEW WHO WERE RETIRING WITH DISTINCTION ON THIS DAY ALLOWING OTHERS TO BE APPOINTED THEIR PART TO PLAY


THE PROVINCE WAS TRULY SEEN TO BE IN GOOD HEART THE PROVINCIAL GRAND MASTER PLAYING HIS PART LEADING THE WAY WITH SOME HUMOUR AND FUN "FOR(C)ANDLES TO BE LIT" AND THIS WAS DULY DONE


WITH VISITING DIGNITARIES WELCOMED TO THE EVENT CONSIDERABLE TIME THEREAFTER WAS PROPERLY SPENT ACKNOWLEDGING THOSE WHO HAD GIVEN OF THEIR BEST IN SERVING THE PROVINCE WITH GREAT ZEAL AND ZEST


WITH NEW BRETHREN IN POST ALL POSITIONS FILLED CEREMONIAL PERFORMED BY THE "D C" WELL SKILLED THE PROVINCIAL GRAND MASTER GAVE HIS "ADDRESS" ENCOURAGING ALL TO USE THE SKILLS THEY POSSESS


TO PROMOTE THE GOOD OF FREEMASONRY TO OTHERS WHO THEY MIGHT SEE AS POTENTIAL BROTHERS A SUMMER BREAK TO BE ENJOYED --A WELL EARNED REST MAY THE ENSUING YEAR PROVE TO BE -- ONE OF THE BEST
