Royal Arch supporting Buddy Bags

Rod Hinton and Howard Smith of the Warwickshire Royal Arch Masons presented a cheque for £3,000 to the Buddy Bag Foundation. This generous donation will purchase 120 Buddy Bags of love and make a difference to 120 children who find themselves in emergency accommodation escaping domestic violence in the Warwickshire area.

The Buddy Bag Foundation was set up in response to the rising number of children who enter emergency care after fleeing violent situations at home. Restoring a sense of safety and security into a child’s life during a traumatic time is one of the first steps to recovery. By providing these children with a few essential items, they help make the transition into emergency care a little easier. To support children in this situation they have created the Buddy Bag to provide comfort when all else has been removed.
